Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Logatec cleans the sewage in the municipality of Logatec. It is rated for cleaning of PPE 14,900 but in fact is able to clean over 20,000 PPE (population units - people). Cleaning process comprises a first mechanical pre-treatment followed by biological treatment. To carry out the final cleaning of waste water the membrane technology is used. The advantage of purified membrane technology is a much smaller space in which wastewater treatment plant is built, weakness is more complex and more expensive technological equipment.
